The repowering isn't that hard. It took me a lot of time because I
went very slow and could only work on it when I had extra time. The
tapping is on the steel plates you'll mount on top of the engine
bearers. Not hard at all. Hand drilled and tapped myself. Here's
Steve's definition "You will need a couple of bearer plates 500mm x
80mm x 10mm 2 off (Steel - painted)" I got these from a local
machine shop. (20" x 3 1/2 inches x 1/2")
I uploaded a few pictures of significant parts (apparently putting
us over the limit). I chose the centaflex coupling from Steve,
that's in one of the pictures.
I put together a "How To" with my gleanings from NUMEROUS gleanings
from Steve. Using this with the other document available on the web
site should make it fairly straight forward.
