Not long installed a 2nd hand Beta BZ482, having a little trouble though. The engine is fully installed now and ready to use, But there's always a but!
she started fine but only ticks over and i could'nt get any revs untils a couple of minute's later, She seems to idle faster at this time to as if the 2nd cylinder is kicking in and then i can get full rev's.
I looked into this and ruled out many possible problems, i got the injectors re-furbished as they were not spraying properly, the cylinder pressure was low so i took the engine out and replaced the rings (as many people though this would be the issue) and had the head serviced, put it all back toghether and its still the same? I think it could be some sort of fuel problem! and she throws out dirty exhaust fumes on start and there is fuel floating on the water around the boat.
I dont know whats going on, but it's doing my head in and any idea's or feedback would be greatly appreiciated.
