Best way to seal the skylight over the V berth?

The small plastic square about the size of a post card above the V berth area is leaking on our 87 C22.What is the best stuff to use to seal this area to prevent leaks? Any tips or tricks?Fair winds,Tom

our boats might be different, but..

I have a 74 C22 and I cannot recall a small square above the berth, so our boats may be slightly different, but.. Have you tried the 3M sealant? I used it when installing a small drain in my boat's cockpit and it seemed easy to apply and I've seen no leakage.Best of luck.
