Consider an O'Day 25 or 26.
If you have a full size tow vehicle you can't beat an ODay 25 or 26 with shoalkeel and centerboard. I pull my O'Day 26 with a Ford 150. It weighs 4800 lbs plus trailer, has a 30 inch shoal keel that will get you close to that beach with the centerboard up, and has a great interior layout with 5'8" to 5'9" headroom, v-berth, double berth, single berth and short single berth. You can definitely sleep 4- my single berth is occuppied with sails, and the small single would work for my 6 year old grand-daughter only. The head is nice and is enclosed. There is a mast raising system, though I prefer to raise it with two people. Some of the 25's weigh less and have 5'6" headroom. Hope this helps.
