Best shower faucet for the head

Looking for some advice on faucet-shower combinations for my Catalina 30. I want one with a combination sink faucet / hand shower that can be pulled out and attached to a wall bracket for showering. My current setup uses a hose that has to be connected to hose fitting on the faucet, then taken down and stowed someplace - it's a pain! Most of what I see on West Marine and other suppliers are expensive plastic junk with terrible reviews. Any specific suggestions would be appreciated!

Your best bet is to look at the more abundant less expensive choices offered at RV centers and online stores. I found an inexpensive shower head holder (suction fitting) at an RV store that was a fraction of what the boating catalogs provided.

If at all possible I would try creating a whole new faucet mounted on the wall or above the sink by plumbing into the water lines under the sink. I would use a hand held shower head with a quick thumb on/off valve right on the shower head type of deal. I would start at home depot or Lowes. Does not have to be made or a boat I wouldn't think.

We use one of these in the RV with a shut off valve on the handle. Works great. You would need to tee into the existing line to connect with a separate line shut off valve as the shutoff on the handle allows a small amount of water to continue to come thru.
