Just brought 3.5Kw generator on board. It has pneumatic wheels that leave it higher than I want and will leave a mark at wheels eventually. I'm thinking of Styrofoam Ceiling tiles cut to size under marine ply cut to size for generator frame at the bottom. Has anyone tried this or has anyone found a better solution. My hope is to lower it by 4" and cut down on vibration thru the bulkhead when running. Appreciate any comments.
