My aluminum prop broke on my Mac26X and want to replace it with SS. The prop on it is an 11 3/4 X 10. Never seemed to get up to the 6,000 RPM its supposed to. Looking for recommendations.
Prop sizing is a hit-and-miss endeavor. Michigan wheel has a 10 3/4 x 12 in stainless. But I would caution you, where as you broke your aluminum prop a stainless prop will not break as easily and something else will break, part of the motor or lower unit. Props are cheap compared to outboard parts and labor.
