I would stick to the agricultural suppliers for the Kubota parts. Do you have the Kubota parts manual, with their part numbers? You'll need that. What engine do you have?

The agricultural Kubota suppliers no longer work with the marine side of Kubota. Engine (I think) is a ZH600-B

Yes, you don't tell them it's a marine-ized engine, something Kubota never did, anyway. You give them the Kubota part number. If it was ever in a tractor, they will have it or get it, at a much lower price than Westerbeke or Universal or any other marine engine company. I got a fresh water pump for my Universal M25, a Kubota D850, for $62 at an agricultural place, when Westerbeke/Universal wanted $350 for it. Same part.

The only parts you won't be able to get this way are the parts the marine company added, like the water-jacket exhaust manifold, the bell housing, raw water pump, various linkages, etc.

Thanks, so it sounds like Kubota made the engines for small tractors and then we’re modified by another company, Universal?

Yes. And I think Westerbeke, who now owns Universal, did as well, and Beta, and others. I don't believe anyone makes a diesel engine specifically for the marine market, not even Volvo or Yanmar, for whom agriculture and industry are the primary markets, 'though those two marine-ize engines themselves.

I just uploaded several Kubota Parts manuals to the files section. As others have said above. Get the part number and go to your neighborhood Kubota tractor dealer. Also the manuals show the location of the Kubota block number stamping.

The diesel in my BX23 tractor and MX25-XPB are pretty much identical on 95% of the parts.
