I would appreciate some feedback on the best product for changing oil. I have a 3 cyl Yanmar. I have seen several oil change pumping products. The suction type like the OIL BOY seem very attractive as they look like they do a fairly good job without a lot of mess. I would enjoy hearing some opinions.

Jabsco Porta quik

Liam, I have been using a Jabsco Porta Quik fo the pst several years and it is one I see most in the marinas I work in. The one addition I would make is to add a hose clamp to the connections close to the pump. Last Fall when I was changing my oil the hose came off and in the one sceond it took me to shut the pump down I had oil all over the boat. I was a real mess to clean up to say the least. Charlie

Oil Boy

I have the oil boy and it works great. You have to be careful when you pull the hose out of the dipstick tube to make sure it doesn't fling oil all over, but it beats the heck out of the old one I had. You just pump it a few times to create a vacuum and wail to hear the slurping sound when it's over. I keep mine at home and have found that it makes changing oil in the lawn mowers, roto-tiller, field trimmer and generator a breeze as well. Did I miss any?
