best mouth horn?-Horatio Hornblower?

At the Annapolis Boat Show earlier this month, Pam Wall of West Marine, showed and told of the Horatio Hornblower horn--just blow into it.

But West Marine no longer offers it.

Does anyone know where to get it?

Is/was it the best or are there better?

Hey Ward, I had fun looking for this stuff... final search was for "nautical bugle" which turned up an interesting Ebay result. I have a simple bugle style horn that I recently recovered from the bottom of my dock box. I now keep it on the boat because the air horn is annoying sometimes. The bugle works well for fog.

The one from the previous poster from the boat store is the one I was looking for. I just did not know it.

Pam Wall emailed me again this afternoon. She found it at Bass Pro Shops since West Marine no longer carries it:

So apparently the name for it has changed from Horatio Hornblower to Sea Sense.

In her presentation at the Annapolis Boat Show she spoke very highly of it.

Still, if anyone has compared different ones of these, it would be interesting to know their opinion.

The one from Bass looks like the one Orion (the flare people) used to make. Maybe they still do, but West does not carry it. I have two, and they blow a mean sound. I suggest it, in hopes the ones they now have work better than the one the person in the nasrty review got.

I also found what appears to be it on Amazon-but only after entering in their search box "SeaSense Safety Blaster Air Horn." Entering "Safety Blaster Air Horn" also brings up results on Amazon.

Amazon's price is $7.26 shipping included if you are a Prime member. Less than $5 if you pay shipping.

Those searches on Amazon also turn up an orange one that may be the one Pam Wall mentioned that did not work as well.

I had searched on Amazon before entering things like: "mouth horn", "air horn", manual horn", and several other variations and Amazon's search did not find it then.
