I hope I don't get into trouble for a little mild profanity, I'll let Phil decide. On the way out to Block Island, amid the weekend convoy of boats big and small running between Watch Hill and Block, I heard this on channel 9: An agitated woman's voice: "I just love how you pr**ks look back to see if the sailboat survived!" Hilarious! Also, too true.

And that sailboat...

...only uses about $15 of fuel motoring in the fog round trip from Watch Hill. Those power boats are using $250 (minimum).

I liked this one.

OK, I see Cap'n; You want to take your half of the channel right out of the middle.

Rescue call....

"How many POBs in the water?" If they're in the water, they're no longer POBs!

Here's another

Scene: Chesapeake Bay Caller on ch68: You are catching fish? What is your location? Answer: I'm a mile to the left of buoy 6. At this point about 4 voices chimed in with: "Hey, which way is left out here?"
