Best glue to adhere peeling numbers to dacron mainsail.

I have a Hunter 23.5 with one of the numbers peeling from the dacron main sail. Does anyone have any suggestions of the glue to use in order to adhere the peeling number onto the dacron without harming the dacron?

I always thought those numbers were iron-on.
