Best Engine Degreaser

I am trying to fine the best way of degreasing my deisel motor. I"m thinking that the degreasers you but at auto parts stores might be harmful to my rubber motor mounts and the environment. Does anyone have any good suggestions about this?

Simple Green. Non-toxic and works great.

I'll second Simple Green.

If you're in the water remember to shut off your bilge pump and have a wet/dry vac handy to suck out the bilge.
