I recently had a bad experience with a marina that had wires which i accidently backed into. The standing rigging(which was not in good shape and needed to be replaced anyway) broke and the mast fell to the boat. The pin held in but the part that hit the deck created a small bend in the mast. I am considering using the trailer as a brace and putting the mast under the trailer and jacking up the mast to meet the trailer. Any other input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, pjsattler
