I had been wondering why there was so much slack in the lifelines when the manager of the yard pointed to the bent back bow pulpit. He said they could cold straighten it out and they did, a bit. Does anyone have a profile picture of how it should look?
It looks like it started to bend around (guessing a 4X4) so I think I'm going to pull it off and use heat to straighten it out. I bend with heat (used to be member of a blacksmithing guild) but left him to try as he said he could do it without using heat.
This is what it looks like after the yard had a go.
Especially want to see the angle from the deck connections as he said he would place a board against these points for leverage to push it back in shape with hydraulics.
Thanks
