Beneteaus like a number of brands are production boats that are reasonably priced. I don't believe there is a big difference between the same size production boats although it's been a while since I've done a lot of comparison shopping
We're on our 4th in almost 30 yrs of sailing and have always been drawn to them based on sleeping accommodations, wood details, performance and local dealer service levels. On the latter the dealer can make the difference between a fun experience and a painful one.
Our latest a 423 is an outstanding boat that meets the above criteria and will sail circles around competitive brands. Although on. Occasion I long for the cockpit of the newer models.
Can you get one cheaper - probably but then you can buy really cheap life preservers, etc. can you buy better built/more expensive absolutely!
