Beneteau: Wheel Size and water tank drain

I have a couple of questions for any Beneteau owners.
I have a Beneteau 351 Oceanis, 1994 (Marion, SC):

1) I am away from my boat right now and need to know
the dimensions of my helm. It is either 40" or 42". Can
anyone help me?

2) Does anyone have any advice on how to drain my
water tanks without running the water pump constantly,
and running the risk of burning it out? I keep thinking there
must be a drain somewhere, but I cannot find one and the
manual does not suggest there is one.

3) Any thoughts on why the 351 lists to port? The boat
has two water tanks -- one up forward that runs more
or less athwart, but a second one in the stern sits port
side. I keep that empty just to avoid more list, but the
boat still lists.

Thanks for your consideration

No idea about #1

#2 - My tanks have no drains. I would assume yours don't either. Run the pump. You would rather have it fail at the dock than on the ocean and leave you with no accessible water.

#3 - I shifted all my dive weights and gear to the starboard side to equalize the boat.

The water tanks don't have drains, but I have dried my tank by opening the tank hatch and spunging out the remaining water out. I have also cleaned the inside of the tank of scum during the process. To winterize I take the water intake to stick it straight into the anti-freeze container - that way you don't partly fill the water tank with anti-freeze - and run it throught the water system. I don't use the aft water tank on my B352 - don't need the water and I like the weight forward and centered in the boat. The list to port? I don't know - my battery bank is on the starboard side, you could check that. My boat sits pretty flat.

Use the pump to drain the tank, running it dry doesn't hurt it 'cause it's not an impeller pump. The wheel on my my '94 Bene OC400 is a 42". The list is probably a battery storage issue but make sure there's no water in the bilge or under the molded grid.
