Beneteau sign removal

Beneteau 423 , I would like to replacing the grey stickers on the side of our cabin top but haven't been able to find out how to remove the "Beneteau" metal sign from the cabin top .
Not sure if it is through bolted or just stuck on .

On my 393, the Beneteau logo is held only by adhesive-no screws or thru-bolts

Guys removing logos from their cars use dental floss to "saw" behind the logos. Never tried it myself

If you let the sun warm up the area around the logo, it should be relatively easy to use a piece of monofilament fishing line to slice through the adhesive behind the logo. Just take your time.

If warming in sun doesn't work, try a heat gun, or hair dryer. But be careful and don't get too close with either.

hair dryer on high about 8 inches from the emblem. comes off very easy.
