Beneteau Pedestal

We're in contract to buy a 1995 Beneteau 42s7. The pedestal was wobbly so the owner had it checked and it appears theres a fiberglass piece that the pedestal is attached to that is cracked. Does anyone know anything about this and what it entails to fix it? Or is there someone I can contact at Beneteau that would be able to answer some questions?
