On the 37 there’s a hole in the side of the anchor roller. A block gets attached to that hole, and the tack line from the spinnaker runs through that block to the bow cleat. We also have parrel beads that go around the furled headsail to hold the tack from blowing too far to leeward.

Davidasailor26,
What you describe seems like my best option. I don't want to drill holes in the bow of my boat. Although the anchor roller tray is not exactly center line, it's close enough. Can you send me a picture of yours?

@tbolan your bow roller is in a great position. The Tack line rises and floats in front of the boat. A "specific location" is not relevant. You use the asymmetrical to sail off the wind. There is lots of room for adjustment.

Here’s the best picture I have of it rigged. You can see the beads on the forestay, tack line going down toward the roller, and lazy sheet laying on top of the furler drum ready for a gybe. I don’t have any pictures on the block on the roller bracket but I’ll be at the boat on Friday and should be able to get a shot of it then.

Here’s the picture of the block mounted on the bow roller bracket.

We don't store our anchor on the roller (looks like you don't either?)

I run the tack line under one of the anchor rollers, which on our boat is part of the stem casting. You might want to reinforce that anchor roller with a stem strap if you're going to load it up with an assymetrical...
