I just went on the Beneteau Yacht Club site and joined... relatively easy.
The Owners manuals are about 8M and available in either French, English, Spanish, German etc... both the EU and US versions are included and it is all free!
The 311 is different from the 31. In the new owners manual the wood colouring and other small differences reflect the procuct changes for a 2015 model from your 2008. http://www.beneteauyachtclub.com/fr/documents/

IIRC, the 311 became the 331, which became the 323 in 2004-ish. Then the 31 replaced the 323 (323/343/373 line). I think the 31 was redesigned from the 323 to something targeted to a lesser-budgeted clientele.

I don't know if the 311 became the 331, but I believe the 331 became the 343 around 2004.

OOPS- I think there was a 321 in there that maybe became the 323. The 323 it 32' 10". Anyway, the 3-digits of that line were a different breed from what was before and after.

The 311 and 331 are two different boats. While the 311 was (is) a beautiful boat, it had several design flaws that were corrected when Beneteau created the 331. Both boats appear to have been designed as starter models with a goal of getting their owners to move up to a larger size. That concept worked for the 311 line, but unfortunately for Beneteau, the 331 series seemed to catch on with owners who decided that this boat was a "keeper" and thus no upgrades to a larger model.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I recently purchased a Beneteau Oceanis 31 (USA built) and am looking for a copy of the owner's manual. Unfortunately, the links provided above do not seem to be working anymore. I contacted various Beneteau dealers to obtain an owner's manual, to no avail...
