On my Bene 381 I have this unused fitting that I've never seen before and I'm dying to figure out what it is. I sent the pics to the manufacturer (Inca Plastics) and their position is that they don't know, and they built the tank according to boat manuf specs. Beneteau has no idea either. Anybody has this fitting? It's not being used by anything so my best quess is that is a) a spare hose fitting even thow there's no hose barbs on it, b) a place to hold the tank during installation, c) a vacuum relief valve to prevent the tank from collapsing in case of vent clog.
