I have a 1993 First 310. The vinyl covering in the forward and aft berth has let go. What is the best way of repairing this?

I also have a 93 First 310 with the vinyl coming loose in spots in the V and aft berths. What I did was clean off as much of the old glue and pilled-up foam backing as I could and then sprayed a liberal amount of 3M spray adhesive on the hull and vinyl. When you think you have sprayed enough glue, spray some more. Let it sit for a minute or two then just smooth the vinyl back up by hand. That was a couple of months ago and it seems to have worked.
It was a cheap, easy fix. Good luck.

This is a good trick that works on mostly vertical surfaces (like the hull). The chalange is to get the old glue off which can be a huge job. It works because if you can tack up the top, the rest of the sheet just drapes with gravity.
