As a former Catalina owner, I'm familiar with classes offered around the U.S. by Moyer Marine specifically on how to maintain/repair Atomic 4 gas engines. Now that I'm a Beneteau 38s5 owner, I wonder if there are any similar resources for us, such as classes specific to Beneteau electrical, plumbing, etc. systems, OR, specific to Volvo Penta turbo diesel engine maintenance/repair.

Mack Boring, the big Yamaha distributor, offers classes on the Yamaha engines.

My previous boat, a C-30 , had a Universal 5411, and my current ride, a Bene 40, has a Perkins M50; you can find a diesel class pretty much anywhere; the theories and practices are all pretty much the same, and you can get Nigel Calders, or any other book, on diesels.
