Do any of you know the size of the line that runs to the furler?
I'm not sure if it's 5/16 or 3/8.
Thanks

Fairly certain that it is 3/8" on larger furlers for larger boats. I use 5/16" on my boat. If you have a Beneteau owner's manual (or have access to one), there is a page that details all running gear with line diameters & lengths. Or check the Pro Furl / Witchard USA site for specs.

:plus: The 3/8”s diameter would make sense to me. You can measure the width of a block used for the line. Furler should have at least two blocks to turn the line.

I believe the 473 uses 7/16. There is an excel sheet on the 393 yahoo group listing running rigging sizes but for some reason I can't attach an excel?
