Beneteau 461salt water damage near starter motor

I'm seeking advice from other Benny 461 owners. My 1998 model has some salt water damage on the left side of the engine beside the starter motor. Has anyone else experienced this? Where is the salt water coming from? How was the repair done?

Also rainwater seeps from the base of the mast under the floor. Be aware of this? pooling water can damage the flooring panel and the bulkhead panels. To fix this problem, put a dam with caulking from the bulkead forward to guide pooling water down into the bilge.

Will take a Stab

Salt Water Damage - any chance there is a raw water line nearby?
What about Heat Exchanger? Mixing Elbow?.......any leaks, loose clamps or tell tale stains on engine block?

Have seen signs of salt water left on engine parts or engine mounts after engine service of some kind or another that involved raw water cooling directly or indirectly.
