Does the Beneteau 461 (2 cabin version) have an access compartment under the starboard secondary/maneuvering winch to install a Lewmar electric conversion kit (#480443002)?

Can't answer your question about the winch access, however, one of these will a lot less expensive, especially since you only need one. John Haries at Attainable Adventure Cruising likes them, so do I.

I modified a Lewmar winch to electric. If I had to redo it I would buy a (new or used) electric winch and install. Sell the original manual winch and the cash outlay is optimal. There was only a small difference between the Lewmar winch upgrade kit and the new electric winch when I did this nearly 10 years ago.
