What is the difference between a Benetau 43 and a Benetau Oceanis 43. Thanks dom

Nothing

Would have to see the two boats examples side by side.
But most of the time the Oceanis model name is dropped so owners say
B31, B34, B37, B40, B43, B45, etc, etc

First Owners usually say - First 40, etc to differentiate their boat from
the Oceanis line.

Cyclades line was produced for several years (2005-2007) primarily for Moorings charter company and sometimes they get confused with Oceanis line
until you see the hull or interior.

French built boats are Oceanis. eg Beneteau Oceanis 40.
US built boats have only the number. eg Beneteau 40.

Don't think that is quite true. Mine was built in SC USA plant and has Oceanis on the side.

Beneteau43 is the Beneteau Oceanis 43 and also known as the Oceanis 43. Build began in 2008, no longer in production. See attached Spec. sheet.
