Beneteau 423 - Helms station

Any other suggestions to hold up the plastic instrument cover at the helms station while you are making adjustments to the GPS Plotter, Knot meter etc?
Velcro? If so where? Change out the hinges?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We took the plastic cover off - pita! Since we have a Bimini plus a cover for the entire console including table we never had a moisture problem.

I had the same problem and used a bungee around cover and the hand rail behind it (ours is a 361 so might be different), which is ok but then I tightened up the screw/nuts on the cover and that firmed up the hinges enough for it to stay up by itself. I'd try tightening the hinges first and see if that helps.
