Beneteau 411...Nice Looking Vessel!

I saw a Beneteau 411 Celebration listed (Blue Hull) and it looked beautiful. Is this boat blue water worthy? Looking to sail up east coast and possibly beyond when I get more big water experience. Looking to hear from other Beneteau owners about their real opinions about Beneteau

Absolutely

These are built to offshore "A" category standards. There are hundreds of these boats are out there sailing evry corner of the planet.I believe that one of Beneteaus claims is that they have never had a hull to deck joint failure

Pacific Cup Race capable

Absolutely capable to head offshore. I know a number of the cruising Beneteaus have participated inthe Pacific Cup race from SF to Oahu. Bequia (B411) is in this years race. I had begun the preparation of my 361 for this race too but had to drop out for other reasons.Beneteau race series also do well in the offshore races. No issues.Spend some time adding the prerequisite electronics, (SSB), some safety gear and good forethought on prepartion as with any boat.
