Beneteau 411 Convert Aft Cabin to Storage

Hello All,
Has anyone ever tried to convert one of the aft cabins to a storage area? What were some of your primary considerations, and how did it work out in the end. What might you have done differently.

The aft water tank is under the port bunk, so I would think you get the most recovered space by converting the starboard aft cabin.
