Looking to see how the rigging is setup before I go ahead with a purchase of my own 393.

Breathless Pictures

First ... Great Pictures, they should replace the pictures on the 393 brochure with pictures of your beauty !! Questions for you 1) That instrument Pod looks fantastic. Do you think that will work as well with a port winch, genneker lines, and dodger installed ? 2) What did you use to do that ? 3) Whats your thoughts about the arch now that you have it? Pro's / Con's ? Isn't the radar a little close to your head ? 4) How noisy is the wind generator? How helpful is it for your power needs / worth the noise ? 5) My dealer is talking me out of the double rollers. What are your thoughts ? Dan

All for cruising

Dan, All the "extras" were for cruising. I only use the boat in the winter when I'm south cruising. The instruments are in a "Navpod" and are mounted there because I am seldom behind the wheel. A winch would not obstruct the visibility. I would not be without the arch, better than davits and you can mount all sorts of things on top. The wind generator is a KISS and is fairly quiet. It usually keeps ahead of the fridge which is the main draw but you have to have wind. It's output is among the best. I always have two anchors on the bow so the extra roller is a must. The radar has not affected my brain so far but that's my opinion. The mounting height is not unusual. Rick
