We are contemplating purchasing a 373 and would appreciate any advice, feedback, does and don'ts when ordering/purchasing the boat. What options should we consider? Are you happy with your 373s? Have you had any problems?

New 373 Owners

We just got our 373 on Friday. So far, we are more than happy with the boat and, moreso, the dealer (Annapolis Yacht Sales). AYS has treated us very good since the beginning of the new boat process. And, now, into the After Sales process. Since we are using our boat for liveaboard and cruising, we have plenty of "stuff" to stow. The 373 offers multitudes of storage space. Especially, in the cockpit. Having said that, I am struggling, a little, with clothes stowage. The refrigeration is something that we are going to have to grow accustomed to -- we can only imagine how much draw it is on the batteries. The only things we found on our "punch list" is that the stock radio needs to be replaced. And, since we have little dogs, we have to have a netting made to block the cockpit drain that runs under the helm seat. We are glad that we have so many sailing friends that advised us to get a 3-blade folding prop, a classic Main sail, and optional engine. In contrast to their "racing" opinion, we are happy that the boat came with the Lazy Jacks and new designed Main Sail cover. We are very happy. More to come.
