Beneteau 361 aft platform seat issues

Hey all, so I'll try to explain this best I can and hope it makes sense. We have a 361 and the seat for access to swim platform has started to shift and "drop" on one side, often that happens when I'm least expecting it and its quite a surprise slipping down an inch. The seat sits on two tracks on either side and the starboard side is getting worn. I'm thinking I can either replace the track, which looks like a pretty special piece of plastic design, or make the hole for the forward peg a bit smaller making it less able to move in the back. Anyone had this issue on a 361 or similar drop seat arrangement? I'll try to get a picture next time I'm on the boat.

On my 361, when I lift the seat. The seat is shifted forward off the track and it locked on two knobs on each side of the opening. When lowering, I have to lift up and forward to unlock it from the knobs, move it aft back on the track to allow it to slide down.

Same on mine; not sure how it would just drop while sitting on it. Pics would help.

I think I know what Syversens means. Although mine doesn't have this problem it is getting there slowly (not much to concern me for the time). It seems that the track is getting worn (or getting round I better say) where the seat sits on it and the contact between seat and top of the track is very little. If you move the seat it's possible for one side of the seat not to sit properly on the track and drop. Hopefully not enough to brake it. OK my explanation is probably not the best; sorry English is not my native language....!
I think you could probably reinforce the upper part of the track by adding some more area there. Probably some Teflon? Are you sure it's a special piece of plastic? It looks like wood to me.

ok so its been super hot here in Pacific Northwest and when I looked this the heat got to me so I forgot to take pictures, but you are spot on Philip. What's happening is the tracks are getting worn on starboard side and slipping off. the fix was to just remove the slides (I did both) and machine out new ones from starboard, drill identical holes and put back on. I used a starboard a bit thicker than the current but it still allows it to slide and sits much better, the precision is not exactly impressive on the original design.
Other ideas were to add washers behind the nobs holding the front of the seat but this worked out so much better.
