Has anyone removed the wooden panel at the chart table that is mounted on the head forward bulkhead? The panel is mounted 90 degrees to the DC circuit breaker panel. For those of you with factory air, the air conditioning AC panel is mounted into this wooden panel. I would like to mount a battery monitor on the panel; however, it requires drilling a 2 inch hole in the panel and rear access is required to secure it. Is this wooden panel removable?

Not removeable by normal means. There is a gap at the dc panel end big enough to get your fingers behind. Use a facemounted meter.
I put my battery monitor gage on the upper right of the dc panel on the fixed portion.
