Beneteau Oceanus 321 Carters Pt.
We have a new to us a 1997 Beneteau 321.The question is there are 2 smoothe
factory original squares with 3 sealed pilot holes located forward of the forward deck hatch What is there purpose?

Additional block for a spinnaker set up option. Or some early 321 ran their roller furling lines to a block at that location, but because of the tripping hazard it was moved to along the rail. Probably one or the other.

Folding pad eyes.

EDIT: I'm a little more awake today, but I recall... The idea was 2 padeys, with a line staring at one, up thru a block that would attach to a spin pole, down thru a block on the 2nd padeye, then back to the cockpit (or wherever) to allow adjustment. Sort of like a self-tacking jib, but for a self-tacking spin pole.
