One of the overhead lights in my Beneteau 311 cabin has burned out. It is a circular halogen light that fits into a 2 5/16" circular hole (58-59 mm). The light is an Aqua Signal 12V, 5W G4 light, model 3109001000. This light sits nearly flush and has a switch.

I would like to replace some of these lights with LED's, if I could find one that fits into the existing holes. So far, I haven't found a good replacement. Can anyone suggest a good replacement?

Thanks in advance

You may be able to replace the bulb with an LED "bulb" and not replace the fixtures.. I used G-4 disks to replace the bulbs in my cabin fixtures 8-10 years ago and they are still fine. A couple are the red-white disks that are red when first switched on then ya turn it off a second and on again and it is white.. they work great. I used these guys

I have not had any radio interference from the disks that I got from them. Measure carefully .. I had to slightly modify the fixtures to get the disks to fit but it was a matter of bending the socket holders to get the position of the LED correct..
