Very nicely
The 235 sails very nicely. We had a 235 as our first boat and she was a great boat to both learn on and sail. She's fast for her size and is easy to handle. While it wasn't a frequent occurance we did sail her in strong wind with no problems. Like any boat you'll have to find the best times to begin reefing. The cabin was comfortable and was one of the few boats in her size that had a fixed head and holding tank. I don't think you'll go wrong with one.
