I am in the proces of building an ice box. I would like to know of any tricks regarding the bending of an evaporator plate in order to fit the fiberglass box . There must be a simple way of bending the plate without blocking the gas passages.
The evaporator has certain areas which are called "no bend zones". WAECO Adler/Barbour offers a service of custom bending evaporators to fit ice boxes. You can call them at 860-664-4911 and ask for Linda, request the custom evaporator order forms and she will fax them to you. They have 3 different size evaporator to select from and show where the bends can be placed. Phil
