seriously thinking about making an offer on a 1996 Ben 36s7.

any feedback - good / bad / otherwise would be greatly appreciated.

Beneteau 36s7 Port Ludlow
Like all 15-20 year old boats all the usual "caveats" apply to this vintage Beneteau. Having said that the boats are well suited to their original purpose...cruising/racing. The interiors are just plain "cool". Phillip Starck was given a free rein and did an outstanding job creating a unique look. The boat is sneaky fast and, depending upon the sails and deck hardware, point high and are very easy for two to sail. Our 1997, though very well maintained, has the fit and finish that shows real quality of build. We love ours and think we have the best of both worlds for an old one design racer turned cruiser. Highly recommended.
