Depends!
On a NEW boat or a painted boat, the surface is non-absorbent and you can just use the Superglaze.On older porous gelcoat the Superwax is best over a thin sealing coat of Silkenseal (stops it from soaking in and helps it cure faster).However if you have a good solid superwaxed surface you can shine it up quickly and make it more stain-resistant by wiping over with a coat of Superglaze.
