I have a 355 with a 110 jib on a Hood 810 below deck furler refitted to a single line.
I find that I have to tension the furler line to get it to stack, & it just barely makes it before it binds. Only about 8' of core is pulled out, 7/16 line
Anyone have experience with a larger genoa & a single line 810? How did you make it work? Without moving it up above deck & replacing the drum... which may be just wishful thinking.
A larger sail, say a 135, & smaller line, 3/8" seems just wrong.
My first try will be to replace the line & pull more core out, one I get the drum loose.
