Below-deck autohelm

I have a 1984 Hunter 31 with an Edson pedestal. Can anyone make recommendations for a below-deck autohelm?

i am very happy with my simrad hdl 2000 autopilot on my formosa 41... works well in high winds---is perfect match for this boat.

There is no better small boat autopilot today than the Robertson. Now owned by Simrad, their whole line of pilots cannot be beat. Contact whoever you are going to have install it and go from there.
A good autopilot is an indispensable extra hand aboard; a cheap, unreliable one is only slightly less than useless.

I had a Robertson 300 and it started acting very unreliably. The compass was failing and it was going to cost $750+ to replace. I still have all the other working bits if anyone is interested.
