Can the steering wheel be replaced with a folding wheel and if so do you need a wheel puller to remove the existing one. It does not come off by taking the nut off the centre post.
center nut should come off easily..then use a no-bounce/dead blow hammer to tap the center hub. Else you may want to borrow or buy a puller. Folding wheel for that hub should be easy to source. We went with a smaller wheel instead of a folding one, on our B 36CC.
One of my first upgrades on my b361 was a folding wheel. I didn't need a puller or anything. Once the nut was removed it came right off, and the folding wheel went right on.
Unfortunately not the same on the 42 CC. I took off the nut and washer and tied to tap the wheel to try and get it off but it does not budge. Had no problem with my previous Hunter 34. The wheel just slid off easily.
Do not tap the wheel but tap the shaft while pulling on the wheel center. If using a metal hammer put the nut on loosely to protect the threads. If the key is too tight you can grind it down. Should slide on and off easily.
