Bedding Dimensions for H386

We are new owners of 2004 Hunter 386 and until we deliver to her new home here in Mobile Bay, she is sitting dockside in Galveston Bay so can't run down to the boat for measurements. Do any of you "sister ship" owners happen to know the length and width (at the widest and longets pionts) of the V-berth and Master berth matresses?

Shoeless, take a look at the V-berth fitted sheet plans I posted on the H-38 boat info site. I think they will be the same as your.

Great job Tom. We downloaded the drawings and cranked up the old singer. Now, if we can find the main berth plans... Where did you get the V-berth drawings?

I'd recommend you measure your boat's mattresses as I don't believe the 386 and 38 V-berth sizes are the design or size. As I recalll the 38 has more of a triangle shape (three flat sides) whereas the 386 has a radial cut-out of the mattress on the pillow ends (only two straight sides and a rounded fore). I own a 386 but don't have the measurements handy. The aft master suite mattress isn't a true rectangle either. I've seen too many mods made to Hunter's so I think you'd be better off measuring your own boat and assuring you had the correct measurements. It's not like it's a critical "must do it now" issue. Take your time and enjoy getting to know your boat. That's most of fun anyway. Good luck.

386 Rear Cabin Moulding Drawing

I measured up a 386 aft cabin at a boatshow in 2003 and was told it used the identical GRP moulding to my 376.
Accordingly I ordered the interior sprung mattress for the 386 and it fits a treat. Very difficult to get thru the hatch in the first place though!
Herewith my drawing.
Have never needed to measure up in the fore cabin so no drawing - sorry.
