I am in the market to buy a Beneteau or Jeanneau 38-44' so I visited in person 2 or 3 boats and looked at dozens of pictures and videos from various listings.
Other than the DS series, it seems to me that the sleeping situation for people looking for comfort is no great.
By comfort I mean ease of access in/out, width and overall space: The V-berth beds are awkward and the cabin not practical (sleep side ways and go over the partner to get in / out or head aft and being in a cave)
For the price, the overall level of comfort and sofistication the boats offer, I don't understand why the sleeping situation isn't better...
We're pretty much all over 50 years old and I am pretty sure most us don't want to slide into a "cave", roll over the partner to get in/out or even lay on V shaped bed that is too narrow to actually accommodate 2 adults.
I know the DS address this issue but I am wondering if the pictures are misleading and if you feel in fact comfortable.
