Beckson Portal Replacement

Beckson Portal: Suggestions requested for removing the existing Beckson Portal that is over the Microwave in the Catalina 310 which is mounted on plexiglass rather than in the fiberglass. Thanks for your suggestions.

If there are fasteners, remove them and then take some SS seizing wire (or the like) and use it like dental floss to saw the caulk from the edge towards the port so that the port can be more easily removed and you won't risk damaging the port or the plexiglass by trying to pry the port with a screw driver, or some other type of blade.
