Beautiful evening shaping up

After the heavy duty thunderstorms finally wore themselves out, it's turned into a peaceful, cool evening in Apollo Beach. Kicking back in the cockpit even here at the docks melts away the stress of the day. Nothing beats a sailboat for serenity.

Indeed. Low tide kept me bottled up in the marina area. Channel dredging is supposed to start in early fall. Can't wait!

Made it out of the harbor this evening after the thunderstorms ended. Currently anchored off Beer Can Island for the night. Away from it all.

My wife and I went out today and anchored out in a nearby cove. Spent a few hours on the hook. Had lunch, took a nap, read a book. It was soooooo beautiful.

Back at the marina now. Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise with glassy water. Breeze tilled in a bit and I ghosted my way back home. Good times.
