Is your furler ball bearing or is it solid? I just installed a ball bearing furler on my 25 and took the thing apart. It had about 20 torlon balls, 10 in each race. It ws a little bit tricky to get them back into place. If it is solid then it should be a matter of sliding in a new bearing which I think could be described as a sleeve. The ball bearing is a sinch but then mine is a CDI and is bolted into place through the fulring line cover. Good luck.
