What do owners of the Bayliner ceria 22-24 ft.range feel about this boat.How much can I expect to spend on gas for a day out on the bay.This is my first cruiser and a 1988-1991 would fit my budget.What kind of maintance should I expect,what about the motor,how many hrs can one expect out of It,etc,etc. Worried Buyer

We recently tried power and had a 1989 2455, generally we were quite happy with the performance of the boat (it had a 351 ford I/O, cobra drive)I feel it is important to get the larger engine for both performance and fuel economy (the larger engine allows the boat to plane at lower RPMS thus reducing fuel consumption)stay away from v6 engines you have to run them quite a bit harder to get the same speed, and watch for hull blisters
